Vendor technical due diligence (vendor tech DD or sell-side VDD) is an independent review of product, engineering, security, infrastructure and data commissioned by the seller before or during an exit or fundraise. The output is a report advisers and buyers can use to understand strengths, risks and remediation context—on the seller’s timetable.
